Dear Parents,

Boy Scout Troop 189 welcomes all parent involvement.  By being an active parent in the troop you are helping to ensure the success of a program that is directly benefiting your son.  Also, by being active in the troop you will be able to spend quality time with him and enjoy the many great scouting moments with him.  If it were not for the dedicated support of adult volunteers the troop would not exist.  There are many roles you could fill within the troop operation, based upon your interest. 

The question is not whether or not you have the time, but will you make the time necessary to help your son and the troop.   Your son will only be a scout once and everyone needs to help make that experience a good one, so he can get the most out of scouting and the most out of life.
